Reproduction by casting

In the course of its numerous restorations, SOCRA has developed an activity of reproduction of works by moulding in order to complete new sculptures or to preserve the originals in a lapidary deposit with the installation of copies in situ.

The moulding process follows several stages: protection of the work, taking an impression with an elastomer, making a counter-mould, printing a proof with finishing joints and patina.
